Through the wonderful world of the internet I found a woman who got to have an amazing and tragic adventure in motherhood. Her daughter Olivia Grace was a bright and beautiful young lady who even through the struggle of fighting the cancer that eventually took her life was able to be a light to show even people who didnt know her how wonderful the world could really be.
With a heart of gold even when she was suffering and in pain was able to think of other people and find ways to help others. Through her mother we have learned so much of how easy it is to help other people by what Olivia did and wanted to do for other people. I have discovered that little things I do, like picking something up for an older lady in the store, very well may mean so much to that lady even though for me it was just the right thing to do. My eyes have been opened to keep an eye open for those opportunities to be sure I dont just keep on walking but actually pay attention and help out.
Remember this little girl and know that no matter how bad things may be for you at this moment if you see an opportunity to do something for someone else even if it is something so small you dont think it will be noticed.....do it because you dont know how much it may mean for that person you are helping.
I would love for you to follow this link to her mother's blog and learn more about this wonderful light that was taken too soon: http://brokenwon.blogspot.com/
Olivia's body may be gone but her heart lives on and still touches anyone who learns about her.
