So I have, with permission, copied this post from Heather in TX blog. This is something that I think is important as he is a public figure and has now promoted dog fighting. Statistically the circle that promotes dog fighting is also connected with drug use and distribution as well as other criminal activities.
Never mind the cruelty that was involved with the dogs that he promoted fighting what kind of an example is this for our children to look up to? Why should he be making millions and be sponsored by national companies that pay him with OUR money?Yes he did his time but does not deserve to once again be lifted up to any kind of hero status. He does not deserve my money or yours and if these companies continue in sponsoring him that is exactly what is happening. Whether you agree that pit bulls and those of the bully breed are good animals or not what he did was criminal in many ways. Tell his sponsors you will not be buying their products if they continue to endorse this criminal. Tell him that you do not want someone like him being any kind of an influence on your children.
